Damit erweiterte sich\nnoch einmal das musikalische Spektrum der Band.\nDas musikalische Programm wurde umstrukturiert so dass zu den Genres Rock\, Blues\,\nund Soul\, nun auch R&B und Pop im Portfolio zu finden sind.\nMacht euch also auf ein buntes Programm an Coversongs gefasst welche in einem\nkraftvollen aber relaxten California Westcoast Sound dargeboten werden

DESCRIPTION:Dirk Schelpmeier\, der sich selbst augenzwinkernd als „Liedausdenker & Musikerfinder“ bezeichnet\, hat sich mit inzwischen 4 Solo CDs einen festen Platz in der deutschen Singer/Songwriter Szene erspielt. In den 1990er Jahren gehörte seine damalige Band Maria Perzil zu den interessantesten Formationen der deutschsprachigen Musikszene. Nach mehreren CD Veröffentlichungen bei großen Schallplattenlabels trennte sich die Band 1998 und Schelpmeier machte anschließend als Musikfotograf auf sich aufmerksam. Seine Fotos sind auf etwa 200 CDs von Jazz bis Punk\, von Metal bis Klassik zu finden. Nach wie vor ist er fotografisch sehr aktiv und mit 2 Lehraufträgen für Fotografie an der Hochschule OWL auch als Dozent tätig. \n2008 meldete sich der Detmolder mit seiner ersten Solo CD „Seestücke & Weibsbilder“ auch musikalisch zurück. 2011 erschien der Nachfolger „Neues aus Bentrup“. Undogmatisch vermengt er Chanson und Folk mit starken Einflüssen von Blues\, Country\, Rock und Pop und stieß damit von Anfang an auf gute Resonanz. \nEs folgten Anfang 2011 die CD “Neues aus Bentrup” und im September 2015 „Schelpmeier – Die Dritte“. Das aktuellste Album ist das im Herbst 2018 erschienene “Lass uns bleiben”\,\ndas ein mal mehr seine Qualitäten als Komponist und reifer Texter unterstreicht.\nSchelpmeier erweist sich als feiner Beobachter und Erzähler: nachdenklich und ernst ohne Zeigefinger\, unbekümmert und voller Witz ohne Narrenkappe\, modern\, altmodisch und zeitlos zugleich. Ein Kritiker bezeichnete den Musiker Jahrgang ’65 einmal als „ …wohl einen der besten Chronisten seiner Generation. Die Summe seiner Texte spiegelt das Lebensgefühl der deutschen Babyboomer so nuanciert wieder\, wie bei kaum einem anderen Liedermacher“. \nIn seinen Konzerten wechselt er teilweise rasant die Stimmung von brüllend komischen\, mit feinem Zynismus gewürzten Stücken über lakonische Schilderungen aus der ostwestfälischen Provinz hin zu melancholischen\, sehr ergreifenden und einfühlsamen Nummern.

SUMMARY:Patrik Jansson Band
DESCRIPTION:Patrik Jansson\, singer\, guitar player\, drummer\, composer and producer\, was born in the small town of Gävle in the middle of Sweden. He started playing drums at an early age and in his early twenties he moved to Stockholm\, the capital of Sweden to study music and pursue a career in the music business. As a drummer he played everything from jazz and blues with small combos and big bands to punk-rock and metal with touring acts. He also started playing the piano\, the bass and the guitar. \nIn 2007 was time for a new challenge. Wanting to front a great blues- rock band\, he formed the Patrik Jansson Band with hopes of developing as a blues singer\, guitar player and song writer. “I’ve always loved to learn new things” he says. “I wanted to play blues with a more modern approach. Blues is supposed to feel fresh and alive\, it’s a most vital music in my opinion. In short I wanted to play the kind of music that I would like to hear myself and that I think a lot of other people would like and\nappreciate”. \nIn the beginning of 2011 PJB released their self-titled critically acclaimed debut album on the Sneaky Foot Records label and they played extensively all over Sweden. The music could best be described as a mix of Stevie Ray Vaughan\, Johnny Winter\, John Mayall\, ZZ Top and Buddy Guy to name a few of the early influences. After some line-up changes it was time to start writing songs for the follow up to the debut album and in late 2013 the band entered the studio to record “Here We Are” (2014) their second full length album. With guest appearances from Mikael Fall (harmonica world champion 2013) and the great Swedish female blues singer Lisa Lystam\, “Here We Are” is an album full of great songs and great performances. Blues News\, Germany wrote\, ”Yes\, this CD has style\, charm\, that certain something and if someone asked me for track to play\, I would say:\nplay the whole album! Again and again!”. Blues News\, Norway rated the record 5 out of 6 and the American Blues Blast Magazine wrote\, ”Patrik Jansson Band announces “Here We Are” with as much vigor as the late\, great Stevie Ray Vaughan”. \n2015 it was time for another lineup change when drummer Martin Forsstedt\, bass player Thomas Andersson and organ player Gustaf Andersson joined the band and late 2016 they hit the studio to record So Far To Go. The wide range of the new material was a clear statement that PJB didn’t have any limitations for their music and following their own recipe they once again proved that they knew what they were doing. The album is full of melodic blues and blues-rock where influences of classic Chicago and Texas blues like the music of B.B. King and Freddie King is fused with the more modern soul\, blues and blues-rock of Robert Cray\, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa. It was released in august 2017 and once again the critics were delighted. Blues Blast Magazine\, U.S.A. wrote ”Guitar based rock and blues- rock doesn’t get any better than\nthis. From the high energy cuts to the slow pensive moods this music deserves to be heard.” and Blues Magazine\, Netherlands wrote ”There is just no bad song on this album. Only high quality bluesrock!”. ABS Magazine\, Franc ”This singer\, guitarist\,\ncomposer and producer of Swedish origin has an indisputable talent to play the blues” and BluesNews\, Germany gave the album 5/6 saying ”Now\, Jansson has delivered the sequel to „So Far To Go“ and I’m just as excited as then. Why? Because he once again made his version of the classic Freddie and B.B King just like the followers Robert Cray\, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa”. So Far To Go got a lot of airplay on radio in U.S.A\, Australia\, U.K. Italy\, Spain and Poland. \n2018 PJB completed their second successful European tour and a did several festival appearances\, including one at the\nGrolsch Blues festival which was recorded and broadcasted nation wide by the German Deutschlandfunk radio. \nIn 2019 Gustaf Andersson was replaced by Lars Ericsson\, a piano player with extensive jazz and blues background giving the band a more sophisticated sound and it was time once again to enter the studio to record the fourth album simply titled IV. It was released October 2\, 2020 and once again the focus was on great song writing with melodies and arrangements aimed to capture the listener\, but this time PJB chose a more scaled down approach to the production with no horn or string sections added. The goal was to make a more live sounding album like the classic heavy blues albums of Albert King and Buddy Guy but mixed with influences of contemporary blues masters like Joe Bonamassa\, Walter Tout\, Jeff Healey\, Robben Ford and Gary Moore. The result was a music feast for fans of electric blues\, blues-rock\, Chicago blues & heavy contemporary blues. \nOr as Blues Blast Magazine\, USA puts it ”Blues-rock is alive and well in the hands of this Swedish bunch of top-notch purveyor’s of the genre”. \nDuring the pandemic 2020\, Patrik Jansson took the time to focus on another project that led to the release of the solo album Game Changer in 2022. A diverse and bold album showcasing Patriks abilities as a multiinstrumentalist and his mastery of different styles of music\, writing all the songs as well as\, recording\, producing and playing almost all the instruments on the album. The album got great reviews\, 5 out of 6 in Blues News\, Germany\, 8 out of 10 in Sweden Rock Magazine\, and Rock and Blues Muse\, USA wrote ”Patrik Jansson is a masterful musician who understands the big picture of the songs he writes and executes them with precision and grace. Get him into your rotation and hear for yourself”. \nIn 2024 keyboard player Robin Hillgren and drummer Daniel Sohlberg joined the band and PJB started writing songs for a new album\, album number five. With a new vision of where to go with the band and the music\, the new album ”Different Shades Of Blue” started taking shape. New influences and new musical experiences made the songwriting process very interesting and choosing songs to record was not easy. ”I like it when an album takes you on sort of a journey when you listen to it” Patrik says. Mixing influences like funk\, jazz\, rock with ”old school” blues It ́s clear when you listen to the new album that even though the sound and the songwriting has evolved\, it still sounds 100% like PJB\, actually it sounds more like Patrik Jansson Band than ever before! \nA lot has happened since the start in 2007 and since the first record\, and it becomes even clearer when you listen to each new album. „I put a lot of time and effort into making my records and I really try to make my music mean something. Kapelle Petra und der Alex Mofa Gang. Dieser jemand hatte ein ziemlich goldenes Händchen\, denn kurz nach dem ersten Akkord verwandelten die PEALS aus Ibbenbüren mit ihren tanzbaren und energiegeladenen Gitarrensongs die Clubs in einen gewaltigen Dampfkessel. Kein Wunder\, dass sie jetzt mehr wollen.Das neue Album „Survivor“ erzählt von der Suche nach Orientierung\, von Versöhnung und einem neu gewonnenen Selbstbewusstsein. Jeder Song ist wie der erste Schritt in eine bessere Zukunft\, getragen von Hoffnung und dem Glauben daran\, dass der Weg nach vorn der richtige ist. DESCRIPTION:Marcel Gollin \nWith 6 published albums and concerts both nationally and internationally\, Sophie Chassée has gained an established reputation in recent years\, especially in the Modern Fingerstyle Guitar scene. \nIn her last album ELYRA / SOLUNE\, released in May 2026\, she opens up her heart and puts together all the musical parts she is made up of: Fingerstyle Guitar meeting raw Indie Folk Pop combined with Songwriter elements. \nHer music\, influenced by artists like Colbie Caillat\, Ben Howard and John Mayer\, features English lyrics that reflect on lost love\, life’s changes and personal stories. \nIn addition to her solo work\, Chassée has collaborated with renowned guitarists such as Jon Gomm and Joscho Stephan.
